MEI Valvole Industriali has certified its Quality Management System with the certification body RINA.
This European Directive came into force in 2002 harmonizing the sector legislation and replacing all pre-existing National Regulations. From this date it may be placed on the market only the equipment that meets the PED requirements with the CE mark. The PED directive prescribes a strict documentation of every pressure equipment and assemblies that exceed the 0.5 bar. MEI Valvole Industriali realized the technical documentation, user manuals and maintenance manual provided by the Directive and has been certified by the notified body PASCAL.
Issued by the American Petroleum Institute, it is the most desirable and trusted certification in the petrochemical industry.
This Directive aims to ensure the free movement throughout the European Union of products intended for use in potential explosive atmosphere (ATEX). The Directive applies to all the equipment and protection methods used in an atmosphere which could become explosive due to the presence of flammable substances in the form of gases, vapors, mists or dusts. MEI Valvole Industriali has realized the technical file (and deposited to the notified body DNV), user manual and maintenance manual provided by the Directive.
FDA and EU1935/2004
It is mandatory compliance since 2013 that is applied to materials in contact with food products and pharmaceutical industries. MEI Valvole Industriali disposes of a supplier’s declaration that confirms the compliance of the required standards concerning both American (FDA) and European (EU 1935/2004) food features.
The WRAS certification guarantees that the product complies with the security requirements in the UK for those products intended for use with drinking water.
